Adam El Abd (Left) in action

It seems that half Egyptian defender Adam El Abd has booked a place for him in the starting eleven of Brighton & Hove Albion next season.

Adam participated in the three friendlies that Brighton played so far. In the latest friendly on Friday, Adam played the full match against St Albans which ended in a 0-0 draw.

The half Egyptian also participated in Brighton's 4-3 win over Worthing which took place on the 13th of July. El Abd played the whole first half and was taken off during half time.

It should be noted that Brighton started their preseason preparations on the 9th of July when they faced the French side Le Havre. The game ended in a 0-2 defeat for Brighton with El Abd playing the full match.

It is also worth mentioning that Adam El Abd will wear the Jersey number 20 this season, a number that was booked for Rami Shaaban in the past season.
