"The Danish youth national team is interested in me," said Rami to EP on Tuesday.

"This is especially after EgyptianPlayers.com managed to get me interest from Egypt's youth team too."

He added: "Like I always have said, I will represent Egypt in the future, the sooner the better.

"I will only be ready to play for Denmark as a last solution."

Egypt's manager Rabiea Yassin is likely to call Rami to his next U-19 training camp in Egypt, following contact with EgyptianPlayers.com.

Regarding his club football, Rami said: "My contract (at FCN) is expiring 1st July 2008, but I have been in negotiations with the club for several months now. It's a very good club that does hard work to develop its own players, so I am happy to be at the club.

"I have played 11 games since the winter, and scored 5 goals. We have just qualified for the best U-19 league in Denmark," added Rami, who also made it to the first-team on a couple of occasions.

"There have been several offers, but I haven't made any decisions yet. I want to concentrate on playing for my club, and when the summer comes I will make my decision."

Meanwhile, a Danish magazine wrote: "The captain of FC Nordsjælland U-18 team has been called up for the Egyptian youth team. In the near future the DBU (Danish Football Association) will send him an invitation too. "I am going to see how it is, and am looking forward to try it," says Rami Raofat, who is also ready to try as as Danish national team player if he doesn't succeed with Egypt. Rami Raofat came to FC Nordsjælland from BK FREM, which he two years ago represented in the KBU (Copenhagen Football Union, for the biggest talents aged 14-16). Something seems likely to happen after the U-19 national coach Per Andersen has been looking at the midfielder. Rami Raofat, who is turning 18 in August, is born in Denmark to Egyptian parents."
