Latest reports revealed that Ahmad El Muhammadi is on verge of completing his transfer to Premiership side, Blackburn Rovers this summer.

The English Premiership officials have sent a fax to ENNPI in order to invite the player to undergo a medical before completing the transfer deal.

The 22 year old right back/midfielder played well for Egypt as he came on from the bench in Egypt's 3-4 last minute defeat at the hands of Brazil. He also picked up a red card in the game to come with anticlimactic performance against USA in the game which ended in a 0-3 for the Runners Up of the Confederations cup.

El Muhammadi has been linked with a move to Blackburn for months now, but it seems that the Sam-Allardyce's side are willing to complete the deal this time. It should be noted that the deal is expected to be around 2m pounds.
