Mohammadi Snubs Dinamo Bucharest & Signs for Blackburn:

A few days ago, ENPPI versatile right back Ahmed El Mohammadi decided to reject an offer from Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest. The player declared that he is not interested in playing in Romania and revealed that Blackburn are on verge of an offer.

The player spent a few days on trial at the Premiership side and impressed the former manager Paul Ince. However, later reports claimed that Blackburn are no longer interested in the Egyptian due to their poor standing in the table and their desire to sign players who have Premiership experience.

Despite this, it seems that the current manager Sam Allardyce was also keen on signing Mohammadi as he sent club representatives to watch Mohammadi in action in the friendly between Egypt and Kenya this week.

Blackburn officials made a 1.5m pounds bid which was accepted by ENPPI and the player will join his new side within a few days.

Not only this, but Blackburn are also keen on signing Mohmoud Abdel Razek (Shikabala) from Zamalek. Unlike Mohammadi, Shikabala doesn't need to play 75% of Egypt's matches in the past two years to join Premiership clubs as he played for a European club (PAOK) before.

However, Shikabala's move will be delayed at least until summer since he still have a few months to spend in military service. Another factor that might hinder the transfer is the Zamalek board which will unlikely let their rising star go.

EP congratulate Mohammadi for his big move and hope that he can impress in his loan period in order to win a permanent offer from Blackburn or other OPremiership sides in the summer.
