Hold Monaco to Draw; Mosallam's Debut Delayed

Abd Rabboh and Abo Mosallam's Strasbourg managed to
hold Monaco to a 1-1 draw in their away clash that took
place on Wednesday night. Abo Mosallam was selected
in the match squad but he didn't feature in the game.
After their humiliating 0-4 defeat at the hands of
the championship leaders Lyon, Strasbourg achieved a
good result by holding AS Monaco to a 1-1 draw.
Both goals came in the 2nd half. Monaco scored first
in the 73rd minute through Kapo who headed the ball
home into the far corner after a cross from the right
wing. Strasbourg replied just a minute later through
Kante who scored from another fine header. This time
the goal came through a corner kick from the left wing
which was swung high into the area o find Kante who
jumped high and powered a header into the roof of the
net to level the score once again.
In the last minutes of the game, Strasbourg were the
better side and created a few real chances through Diane
who almost scored the winning goal but was denied by
the post.
Despite the good result, Strasbourg are still rock
bottom in the table and they need to find victories
soon or they will end the season in the relegation zone.
It should be noted that Hosni Abd Rabboh missed the match
because of ACN preparations while the new signing Ahmed Abo
Mosallam didn't feature as he didn't train enough with the
rest of the squad.
