Ahmed Abo Mosallam's Strasbourg won promotion to the French top division after their win over Metz by two goals to one. Abo Mosallam couldn't participate in the game because of injury but he started to train with the team a few days ago.

Abo Mosallam resumed training after his long term injury

Strasbourg will return to French Ligue 1 after winning their home match versus Metz by two goals to one. Abo Mosallam's club needed a win or draw from their remaining two games and their victory on Friday night ids enough for them to promote.

Cohade scored for Strasbourg after 12 minutes from the kick off but Bassong equalized in the 21st minute. However, Mouloungui scored the 2nd for the homeside in the 24th minute to win the game for them.

Egyptian full back Abo Mosallam played a big role in Strasbourg promotion as he almost participated in every match in the 2nd half of season till he got injured a month ago. The Egyptian refused to end his career in Europe after his club relegation last season and was determined to help his side to win promotion and return to the top flight again.
