Ahmed Abou Mosallam suffered an injury last weekend in the match versus Gueugnon. The Egyptian left the pitch in the 68th minute after suffering a long term thigh injury that will likely keep him out of action till end of season.

Abou Mosallem in pain

Abo Mosallam suffered an injury in the 68th minute of the game that ended in a 2-1 win for Strasbourg. The Egyptian fell onto the ground on pain and was carried outside the field. Medical exams revealed that Abo Mosallam will be out for several weeks.

Abo Mosallam has been unfortunate with injuries this season as he missed many matches at start of season because of a similar injury and after he regained his forum, injury came back to hit him once more.

Aside from this news, Strasbourg are still on track as they kept the 3rd spot in table and promotion is within touching distance for the team.
