Ahmed Abou-Mosallem looks set to leave Ligue 2 outfit Strasbourg. He has received loan offers from Ahmed Ghanem's Legia Warsaw in Poland as well as Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia. Meanwhile, the Strasbourg manager has hinted that they will let him go.

Legendary French player and current Stasbourg manager Jean-Pierre Papin has dubbed Abou-Mosallem "an excellent player", but stated that he does not have what it takes to communicate with his team-mates. For this reason, the Egyptian has only featured in three matches this season with Strasbourg.

Poles Legia Warsaw, Ahmed Ghanem's current club, and Greek side CSKA Sofia have made offers to loan Abou-Mosallem, and there is a massive chance that they will be accepted, with Strasbourg considering selling the player on a permanent basis.

"Abou-Mossalem is an excellent player," said Papin, before adding that the left-back has put minimal effort into learning the language.

"But his problems in communicating do not assure me. Since he has been here, he has not made the effort to learn the basic 20 words which would enable him to communicate with his fellow team-mates!" continued Papin.

And this problem has been common with Egyptians in the past. Mido was criticised in Holland, though he denied the validity of such claims. On the other hand, those such as Sherif Ekramy have been praised heavily for their efforts in learning; the young goalkeeper showed off his skills by carrying out an interview in Dutch not long after arriving in Rotterdam.

Legia Warsaw are currently on track to reach the UEFA Cup from Poland, standing in 3rd place.

CSKA Sofia are fighting for the Bulgarian League, and currently in 2nd place.

A move may prove great for Abou-Mosallem, as he will play top flight football again this season. Strasbourg are not doing badly themselves, and continue to stand in the top bunch of Ligue 2, hoping to be back in Ligue 1 next season.
