Strasbourg win a friendly match with, maybe, their future recruit Abou Mossalam.

Strasbourg win a friendly match with, maybe, their future recruit Abou Mossalam.

Strasbourg, Hosny’s new club had played this afternoon a friendly match against Nancy who play in the French championship and who are currently 16th, just ahead of RC Strasbourg.

This match was played in “ La Meinau” (Strasbourg stadium).

Strasbourg wanted to prepare for their match against Paris Saint-Germain and so Abou Mossalam was not expected to play this match, as he can’t play with Strasbourg this year (see the previous article).

But the surprise come from the coach Dugueperroux who featured Abou Mossalam. He wanted to test him, explaining, "I rely on Abou Mossalam and on his move for next year."

Strasbourg won the game 2-0 thanks to youngsters Gameiro and Carlier.

But according to the manager Dugueperroux, Gameiro and especially Abou Mossalam were the most impressive. Fans also agreed.

"He provided very good service in a very promising match," said the coach about the Egyptian.

The side-back played the complete match, proving the confidence that Dugueperroux has for him and his future move.
