Strasbourg couldn't win any points from their home match against the 7th club in the French league table, Le mans.

Amara Diane gave Strasbourg the lead when he slotted the ball home into the top corner from close range in the 18th minute.

The first half ended in a 1-0 lead for the homeside, but Le Mans managed to get back into the game in the 54th minute through Bangoura who scored from a powerful shot from inside the box which went straight into the top corner.

After Le Mans' equalizer, Strasbourg pushed forward and tried to reclaim their lead but unfortunately for them, the goal came against the run of play and through the Brazilian forward of Le Mans Grafite. The goal came through a fast counter attack from the right wing and the ball was crossed to Grafite behind Strasbourg's defense, Abd Rabo tried to clear the cross with a bicycle kick but he missed it completely and it fell to the Brazilian forward who slotted it directly home to make the score 1-2.

The Egyptian Hosni had an average game as he focused more in defense but his passing was sub par in some occasions. Hosni also picked up a yellow card during the first half after a harsh tackle. On the other side, Abo Mosallam played a slightly better game than his compatriot.

The defeat kept Strasbourg in the 18th spot in the table with five points separating them from Troyes who are 17th.

It should be noted that Strasbourg need to finish in one of the top 17 positions in the table in order to avoid relegation.
