Abo Mosallam Played but unlucky Strasbourg Drew

Ahmed Abo Mosallam played from the start in Strasbourg's home clash with Ajaccio. which ended in a 2-2 draw. Abo Mosallam had a couple of attempts in the first half but he couldn't convert and in the 54th minute, he was replaced by Lacour. The Egyptian also made the cross for the first goal.

After the red card that he received on his debut for Strasbourg, Egyptian left back Ahmed Abo Mosallam returned back to selection and featured in last week's clash between Paris St. Germain and Strasbourg. Abo Mosallam participated in Saturday's home match for Strasbourg against Ajaccio.

Abo Mosallam played the game from the start, the Egyptian had the freedom to come forward and had a couple of attempts on goal. He also provided the cross which resulted in the first goal for his side. However, Ajaccio's striker Moussa N`Diaye helped the guests to end the game in a 2-2 draw.

Just three minutes after the kick off, Abo Mosallam got the ball in the left flank and delivered a high cross to the striker Diane who powered a header at goal, the ball was parried away by the goalkeeper to find Farnerud who buried it home on the volley to give Strasbourg the early lead.

A few minutes later, Abo Mosallam was on the verge of doubling Strasbourg's lead when the ball was crossed to him from the right wing and he tried to bury the ball directly into the far corner but his direct shot went just wide.

Not only this, but the Egyptian got another chance to score later on when a defender cleared the ball poorly to find Abo Mosallam in the box. However, the Egyptian left back was surrounded by defenders and only managed a weak shot that was denied by the goalkeeper.

The first half ended in a 1-0 lead for Strasbourg and the Egyptian Abo Mosallam left the pitch in the 54th minute as Lacour came on to replace him.

Just four minutes after Abo Mosallam's exit, the star of the game Moussa N`Diaye scored the equalizer through a great shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.

However, Strasbourg reclaimed their lead almost instantaneously as a long through pass was played to Diane who faced the keeper and placed the ball into the far corner to make the score 2-1 in the 59th minute and just one minute after Ajaccio's equalizer.

Despite this, Moussa N`Diaye managed to equalize in the 62nd minute after controlling the ball superbly outside the box despite the pressure from two defenders and shooting a low shot that went into the bottom corner.

After the goal, Strasbourg fought to take the lead again but the score remained 2-2 and the game ended in a disappointing 2-2 home draw.
