The first half ended in a 1-0 lead for Strasbourg
and the Egyptian Abo Mosallam left the pitch in the 54th minute
as Lacour came on to replace him.
Just four minutes after Abo Mosallam's exit,
the star of the game Moussa N`Diaye scored the equalizer through
a great shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
However, Strasbourg reclaimed their lead almost
instantaneously as a long through pass was played to Diane
who faced the keeper and placed the ball into the far corner
to make the score 2-1 in the 59th minute and just one minute
after Ajaccio's equalizer.
Despite this, Moussa N`Diaye managed to equalize
in the 62nd minute after controlling the ball superbly outside
the box despite the pressure from two defenders and shooting
a low shot that went into the bottom corner.
After the goal, Strasbourg fought to take the
lead again but the score remained 2-2 and the game ended in
a disappointing 2-2 home draw.
