Strasbourg's new signing Abo Mosallam finally made his debut but it wasn't a successful one, as his side lost their away match to Bordeaux by two goals to one and the Egyptian stayed only for 41 minutes on the pitch as he was shown a straight red card after a harsh tackle.

Ten minutes after the kick off, Strasbourg's Le-Pen put the guests in the lead through a penalty kick. However, Menegazzo managed to pull level in the 31st minute.

In the 41st minute, Egyptian midfielder Abo Mosallam was shown the red card after a deliberate foul on Bordeaux's forward Julien Faubert.

Despite Abo Mosallam's red card, the Egyptian showed good performance in the 40 minutes he played as he made two great saving tackles and showed an overall solid performance.

While they continued the match with ten men, Strasbourg almost ended the game in a 1-1 draw. However, a last minute goal by Faubert gave victory to the home side.

It should be noted that Strasbourg need a miracle to avoid relegation as they are rock bottom in the table.
