Two defensive midfielders
that were expected to make European debuts look like
they'll be playing in the Egyptian Dawry next season.
Egyptian newspapers have indicated that Hosny Abd-Rabboh
will not be a Strasbourg player.

Hosny will not wear Strasbourg's jersey next season!
As EP reported and covered, Abd-Rabboh had been informed
of serious problems with regards to his military service.
As a result, his move to Strasbourg may have been scrapped
completely.
A paper added that Al-Ahly are now following the player's
availability, and are looking to offer Ismaily a fee
that will secure his services at the Red Tribe.
On the other hand, a rumour stated that the French outfit
Strasbourg followed the cancellation of Abd-Rabboh's
deal with an enquiry into the availability of Ahly's
Mohamed Shawky.

It didn't take long for the Cairo-based club to shrug off any
possibilities of Shawky leaving, as the Egypt international
signed a contract worth 650,000 LE per season.
Strasbourg are still yet to comment or confirm the situation.
