A stoppage time equalizer put Hosni Abd Rabbohs Strasbourg on top of their group which means their qualification to the knock-out stages of the competition. It was the 2nd UEFA Cup game that Hosny missed in a row as the Egyptian started and remained on the subs bench.

Hosni didn't play

Strasbourg upsetted their guests Red Sar Belgrade as they eliminated the Serbian side from UEFA Cup thanks to their stoppage time equalizer.

The guests managed to take a 0-2 lead through Basta who scored through a powerful close shot from the right side of the box in the 34th minute while their second goal came in the 64th minute through Djokaj who scored from a superb chip over the Strasbourg goalkeeper.

Despite this, Strasbourg mande an amazing comeback into the game as they managed to claw a goal back in the 79th minute through Gameiro who scored from a well placed header. The same player saved the day for the homeside as he scored the dramatic equalizer after four minutes of stoppage time from another well placed header to end the match in a draw and to put Strasbourg on top of group E with 8 pionts (One point ahead of AS Roma who came 2nd).

Egyptian midfielder Hosni Abd Rabboh was once again left on bench in UEFA cup games. The Egyptian played as regular in all the French Le Championnat matches but it seems that he is not the first choice for his manager in UEFA Cup matches.

With this impressive group stage for Strasbourg, Hosny will be the only Egyptian in the knock out stages of the competition.
