Strasbourg won 0-2 in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Stadium against the Austrian club Graz AK. It was a good game produced by Hosny and his partners and they take a great option for the qualification for the next turn with this victory.

They scored in the second minute thanks to the speedy attacker (the star of the team) Mickael Pagis after an assist from the Swedish Alexandre Farnerud.

Just before the half-time Strasbourg extended their lead thanks to a goal from the youngster Guillaume Lacour after a second assist of Alexandre Farnerud.

At the 50th minute, Hosny intercepted a pass and send the ball beautifully to Farnerud. The Swedish shot it at goal but it missed the target. It was a beautiful action of the two players.

After this action it was very difficult for the “ Strasbourgeois” who played defensively in the rest of the game.

Cassard, the goalkeeper was impressive. He made some excellent saves and was one of the best Strasbourg players on the pitch.

In the end, Strasbourg managed to defend their lead and won 0-2. This result will help them dramatically in the 2nd leg match which will be played in France on 29th September.

As for Hosni, the Egyptian played an excellent match in defense and helped Strasbourg to defend their lead.

The next match for Strasbourg will be in the French championship at home against RC Lens. Hosni will not feature in that match because of suspension.

It should be noted that Hosny was sanctioned three matches of firm suspension by the commission of discipline of the French League. Due to this, he will not feature in the games against Rc Lens, Ac Ajaccio and Fc Toulouse.
