Furious Rothen commented on his latest injury that was caused by Hosni's rash challenge on him by saying:

''I got a blow on the tibia while my leg was not on the ground,'' said Rothen.

''If my leg was on the ground, he would have broken my tibia.

''He only got a yellow card and then people say we have to protect the players.

''However, I have less pain than after the match against Nice.''

It should be noted that the French international will be sidelined for two weeks following this injury.
