For the 3rd match-day of the French championship Strasbourg met Monaco without Hosny Abd-Rabboh, who is in Egypt to finalise his move.

Egyptian midfielder Hosny Abd Rabboh will be able to feature in Strasbourg's 5th matchday of championship this week-end. Hosny will wear the shirt no. 8 and will be able to participate with his club in both the French championship and the UEFA Cup as well.

The coach of Strasbourg revealed that Hosny could play in this weekend's clash against Bordeaux. Hosny, whose contract was on the way to be cancelled after his military service problems, is now relieved and can now have only one thing in his head "to play".

The Egyptian was interviewed by the club's official website. Abd Rabboh said that he wants to prove that he can be a successful player outside Egypt as he proved to be in his home country.

" I am in a hurry" were his first words. He is ready to play with talented players and against Big club like Paris St Germain, Lyon and Marseille ...

He is also happy to discover France and after only a walk with Haggi, the Morrocan defender, he had been immediately seduced.

Hosny had already presented himself to the club's supporters who are impatient to see the evolution of the "Pharaon".

The Egyptian will certainly touch the lawn of the " Stade de la Mennot " for the first time this Saturday against Bordeaux who is currently 4th in the table.

In the last week, Strasbourg drawn against FC Metz 0-0. RC Strasbourg are actually 17th with 2 points, but it is just the beginning of the season and they can play now with "the boss of the midfield" as he was already described by the coach Jacky Dugueperroux.

Come to EP on Saturday for a full report on Hosny's debut in France....
